Wishing Star fosters hope, community and lasting memories by granting wishes for children with terminal or life-threatening conditions and supporting their families beyond the wish. Things We Can Accept

Below are some of the items we are able to collect for donations:

Clothing

We accept new and gently used clothing for men, women, and children

Furniture

We take all new and gently used furniture as long as they aren't 10+ year old sofas or entertainment stands.

Shoes & Jewelery

New and gently used shoes of all sizes and shapes, as well as jewelry of all sorts

Housewares
& Home Decor

Small home decorations and other useful items for the home

Books
& DVD's

Books and DVD's of all appropriate genres will find their new home with us

Toys
& Games

New and gently used toys and games that your children are no longer interested in

Hand & Power
Tools

Hand and power tools for small projects and garage work

Sports
Equipment

New and gently used sports equipment

Electronics & Small Household Appliances

Small electronic devices and small home appliances that you might find in a kitchen

Things We Cannot Accept

Unfortunately we cannot accept everything for donations, as much as we want to. These items are often better off donated at other charities or thrift shops. Here's a list of things we cannot accept:
